Jacquelyn Marie Rennie, 75, of Frankfort, formerly of Traverse City, died Friday March 22, 2024.

She was born on October 13, 1948 in Bay City the daughter of Robert Leo and Donna Moneen (Rouech) Proper.

Jacquelyn graduated from Senior High School in 1966, Traverse City.

Jacquelyn married her husband, Willam Rennie on February 10, 1968.

She and her husband lived in Traverse City, Florida, Texas, North Bend, Washington and then moved back to Traverse City.

She loved quilting and could not drive pass a fabric store without stopping. She enjoyed traveling, driving her Corvette and loved the Pacific Northwest; especially seeing Tulips in Skagit Valley, Washington. She loved attending the Hot Air Balloon Festival in Albuquerque, New Mexico and spending time going to the Empire Michigan beach. She and Bill loved Canon Beach, Oregon where they have requested their remains to be taken. Jacquelyn and Bill took regular weekend trips somewhere, always driving around the mountains and the water. In her early years she enjoyed scuba diving and waterskiing. She loved her flowers even though she didn’t have a very good Green Thumb.

Jacquelyn is survived by her sisters, Susan Bhagat of Chicago and Julie (Rory) Umlor; step-brothers, Ken (Deanna) Reece and Marc (Diana) Reece both of Traverse City and several nieces and nephews.

They didn’t have any children; however, their Alaskan Malamute Fur Baby dogs, Misty and Ranger were their children.

Jacquelyn is preceded in death by her parents and husband William who died in 2014 and an infant son, Mark at birth.
