Sharon Maxine (Weathers) Lehn, 79, of Traverse City, died peacefully Friday, April 12, 2024 surrounded by family. She was born on June 19, 1944 in Traverse City the daughter of Max Carl and Dorothy May (Ansett) Weathers.

She was a receptionist for many years at the Northwest Community Action Agency.

She was a true Matriarch and enjoyed her family and hosted many gatherings at her home to play games, cards and enjoyed lots of laughter. It was important to her to have friends and family close. She enjoyed going to the Casino, her Tuesday craft group and Sunday dinners exploring different restaurants across the State.

Sharon is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Scott) Strait and Debbie (Sean) Lehn; grandchildren, Jacob Strait, Connor Lehn, Jennifer Strait and Molly Lehn; great-grandchild, Scarlett Lehn; sisters, Pamela (Ron) Fasel and Jan (Rich) Barrett and brother, Doug (Cheryl) Weathers, nieces, Ronda (Thomas) Ulatowski, Lindsey (Brent) Yuchasz and Kelly (Cory) Carlton and nephews, Ronald Fasel, Dustin (Ashley) Wheeler and Kristopher Weathers.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Lehn; brother, Gary Weathers and great-nephew, Matthew Ulatowski.

Memorial Contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Hospice of Michigan, Traverse City. The family was very thankful for the great kindness and care Hospice of Michigan staff provided Sharon.

An informal gathering and light food reception will be held 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Saturday April 20, 2024 at Life Story Funeral Home.
